Proxmox
Proxmox is my favorite Hypervisor so far,
Used to work with VMware workstation and ESXi
Also tried XCP-ng and Hyper-V but still go back to proxmox.
My first Proxmox node has already been wiped,
some decisions were made because of mistakes/errors I didn't have the smarts to figure out or a reinstall was just faster to get back up and running.

Guests are a combination of VM's and containers.
trying different things, breaking it, rebuilding it and fixing errors.

without any expensive servers/old loud refurbished ones, I decided to use an old laptop (top1, 4 core cpu, 16GB ram, 2TB hdd and 250GB ssd) and an old desktop (8 core cpu, 16GB ram 5 2TB hdd's and 1 250GB ssd)
