My name is Benny, 32 years old and I live in Belgium. Happily married to my wife Tiffany. We have a dog and 3 cats.

I started working at a factory, manufacturing fiberglass sheets used in circuit boards. After 2 years I joined the lab team to test the material for 3 more years until I decided to switch to IT.

My first job in the industry was first-line end user support on a service desk team. A year later I got promoted to system engineer, Supporting clients onsite. In this period I also had the pleasure to join The Ruby Zoo, a group specialized in cybersecurity education and research.

3 years later, I decided to quit my job to explore a new challenge. Starting in September 2022 as a SIEM specialist where I will be working with Splunk and doing Linux administration with Ansible!

Besides my job I like to read books and do fun projects with my 3D printer. Networking is a very important part of my job so feel free to add me on Linkedin!
